- Following the downward revision of the US
soybean crop by 1.5 Mn T to 117.2 Mn T we estimate US
stocks at 9.5 Mn T or 350 Mn bu as of end-August 2017...
- Improving Brazilian crop prospects contrast
with deteriorated conditions in Argentina. Soybean
production in South America may rise by around 5 Mn
- Better than expected canola harvest results in
Australia may take the edge off the currently tight EU
- In April/Sept 2017 world output of veg. oils is
forecast to increase by 7.0 Mn T from a low basis of
comparison. World exports may increase by 4 Mn T....
- Argentine soya meal output will fall short of
our previous forecast in Jan/Sept 2017 as a result of the
downward revisions in this year’s Argentine soybean
crop and crushings...
