  • The suspension of fishing in Peru has created a very tight global situation in fish oil and meal and with demand-rationing inevitable, prices are skyrocketing. Peruvian fish oil and meal prices have already reached US-$ 7500 and US-$ 2980, fob.

  • US net imports of 17 oils & fats plus used cooking oil are on an increasing trend but they could not yet stop the uptrend in US soya oil prices. But this could change.
