  • World exports of palm oil are forecast to decline by 2 Mn T on the year in April/Sept 2026, offset only partly by other oils. Great uncertainty about Indonesian export supplies. 
  • USA, Indonesia, Brazil and EU seen accounting for 50-60% of oils & fats consumption growth this season.
  • Booming soya meal consumption in many countries of C.& S. America, Asia and Africa in response to ample supplies and low prices.
  • Expanding plantings are setting the stage for a record sunseed crop in Russia this year. Crushings of old-crop sunseed on the rise.
  • Record crushings of rapeseed & canola have set the stage for a pronounced recovery in rapeseed meal usage in 2025/26, led by the EU.
  • Canadian biodiesel output continued to increase sizeably so far this year.
